Internship

In the summer of 2023, I completed an Internship with Johnson & Johnson Insurance brokerage as an associative underwriter for the Marine & Recreation department. I primarily worked in the existing business side and gained insight into the international insurance industry as well as sparked an aspiration to work in the wholesale insurance industry after graduation. I learned valuable new information about insurance and gained experience about collaborating with others in a professional work environment. Below is a reflection on my internship experience in English and Spanish. It provides an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry at a domestic and international (Caribbean, Central America, and Europe) level. I also highlight the important lessons that I learned about intercultural communication and business professionalism within the insurance industry.
