Bienvenidos
Hello, welcome to my Edossier. My name is Hampton Gehlken, and I am finishing my last year at Clemson University. I am a Spanish and International Business student and will graduate in December 2024.

My passion for the Spanish language developed as a younger child through my outreach involvement with an organization called LAMB in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. LAMB is a safe-haven/orphanage for less fortunate children in the city. The opportunity to create impactful relationships with the children at LAMB has been the main driving force that has led me to pursue my studies of the Spanish Language.

Throughout my time at Clemson University, I have taken a variety of classes and experiences that have prepared me to be an asset in the international workforce. During the Fall of 2024, I have the opportunity to study in Seville, Spain, where I will learn more about the intricacies of professional environments in Spain and the influence of intercultural collaboration. I hope to improve my Spanish skills and become interconnected with individuals working for international companies. I was able to complete an internship with two insurance companies known as Johnson & Johnson Insurance and Iberian Insurance which has set me up to be successful in a future career path within the Insurance Industry.
My Edossier will guide you through more specifics pertaining to my background, educational experiences, professional development, and desire to serve the community.
